Hi - I made a baby zine. Hand painted, written, and cut on rice paper, with a mystery message on the inside for you. Made a baby first batch to gauge interest - it’s prioritized for paid supporters, shipping this month. Open call: If you’d like a copy of my first zine, submit your address below!

Any future batches will mail out Feb-Mar. If you’re remotely interested in my work, share your address. Or forward this to your friend who likes to find kinship with strangers or receive analog print objects.

I’m covering costs as I’m looking to understand audience engagement will people want the things i make? when it costs them ZERO dollars? does anybody care? Like an experimental research project that doubles as labor of love. (well, love and dark humor. content genre is bubblegrunge)

The cover is crinkly since I’m an amateur who hasn’t nailed the balance of water, ink, and paper.

These days there are 100000 search tools and my instinct is still to use none, to instead push dumb hands into thinking, feeling, adjusting. Progress is slow as my hands are still learning to think in this new language.

I cut the edges because it wouldn’t fit into a standard size envelope otherwise. Curved so it feels like water, done quick so it accidentally gives…middle schooler finally allowed to play with the big scissors.

Middle school is not bad inspo? Was just talking to H. about regressing to our tween states. Example: I do not leave the house without Hello Kitty. (S. models above, holding tofu puffs)
